Amazon will adjust PVP in New World's next update, 1.5.2. This update adjusts PvP Arena rewards and increases the amount of PvP XP that players earn, depending on how many rounds the player wins. Amazon is promising some tweaks after some players have found ways to gain more PvP XP and Azoth Salt by capturing faction control points. This update will give players a total of 10 faction control points within 24 hours with full rewards. After capturing 10, the reward will now be reduced to 250 XP and 50 Azoth Salt.

The rest of the weekly update focuses on some fixes that affect PvP and general gameplay. A bug that occurred when players entered modes such as Arena or Outpost Rush with an unsheathed weapon caused some attacks to be ineffective. Two of these changes affect crafting, the crafting button timer shows up as the wrong value for the fix setting, and the other fixes a crafting bug.

Overall, it looks like this patch will continue to make various tweaks to New World's PvP. The New World Coins Buy update also coincides with a dual-weapon XP event, the first of many promised bonus mini events taking place throughout June.
